...hit differently. It had been something I'd taken for granted all these years - being able to choose to leave my house and visit the neighborhood bar, shoot the shit with the bartenders and strangers was something I took for granted. During three months of stay at home orders, all I could think about was that moment I could finally get that watered-down, $12 drink from a stranger.
And all it took was three months of staying indoors.
